The series Volunteers is an on-going project including photographs of the volunteers from different organisations and charities. Currently in the series there are volunteers from Gravesend Hospital and Ellenor Lions Hospice in Gravesend, Kent and also Queen Mary's Hospital in Sidcup, London. What interests me most about the idea of volunteering is that these people give up their own time to help others and receive nothing in return for it. This concept is not commonly seen in todays society therefore I wanted to highlight it within this series.
